Whether you’re new to juicing or sip regularly, we want to share your wellness journey with you.
FAQs
General FAQs
Cold-pressed juicing is a unique process that does not grind or macerate fruits and veggies. We use a hydraulic press that removes heat and avoids oxidation, maintaining essential vitamins, nutrients and enzymes. As a result, you get a premium nutrient-dense juice with a crisp, clean flavor that will help you achieve optimum brain and body function. Whereas with centrifugal juicing, your produce is chopped up and tossed into a fast spinning strainer, using heat and oxidation to extract the juice with centrifugal force. While there is still benefit to centrifugal juicing –your juice breaks down faster and begins to slowly lose its natural nutrients.
With cold-pressed juicing, you get maximum nutrients due to the minimal heat that is applied in the extraction process retaining valuable enzymes and vitamins. Drinking raw juice flushes the system of waste, and by detoxifying the body, juicing can play a positive role in your overall health. Once the highly concentrated nutrients and vitamins enter our bloodstream, they’re assimilated quickly –which in turn, keeps us healthy. Plus, juicing is a convenient way to ensure you reach your USDA recommended fruit and veggie daily intake.
Enzymes are a specialized class of proteins and virtually responsible for all chemical reactions that take place in our body such as our digestive system, bloodstream, pancreas, kidneys and liver. They’re even responsible for physiological chemical reactions –consider your ability to feel, think and breathe. Although, we do have naturally occurring enzymes, there is scientific proof that you slowly diminish natural enzymes as you age. Couple that with a less than ideal diet, lifestyle and environmental pollution –all these factors contribute to us diminishing our ability to live a long and healthy life. So, what can you do to increase your enzymes and aid in your digestion? Simply, consume more raw vegetables and fruits. Foods such as ginger, apple cider vinegar, kale and spinach will help stimulate digestion.
Yes, our juice is 100% raw and real. It has never been heated, pasteurized or high pressure processed (HPP). Our juice is made using a cold-pressed juicer that is then transferred to a bottle. Without pasteurization or HPP, we ask that you consume our juice within 72 hours for optimal freshness. And just like all naturally raw food, freshness only lasts for so long which is which is why we make our juice fresh daily with love.
We have a dedicated juice kitchen and warehouse that serves as our production facility and warehouse. We look at it as the ‘hub’ to our ‘spoke’ which is Huffman, Midtown and our newest kiosk location, The Midtown Mall. We have a dedicated and talented team that works full-time Monday-Friday processing, pressing and packaging our cold-pressed juice.

Yes, the protein content varies by juice and mylk. Our green juices are full of leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, romaine and cabbage which all contain essential amino acids naturally derived from plants. Our nut mylks are made from raw almonds and loaded with protein.

For all the produce food waste, we partnered with Alaska Waste to donate our scrapes to their community compost program and to a farmer in palmer which they use for animal feed. If you or anyone you know have a desire to reuse or recycle our food waste, we’d love to chat with you.
We do our best to always use the highest quality ingredients and support our local farmers, when possible. If we’re unable to source locally, we partner with suppliers that follow sustainable practices to provide you with delicious, premium and nutritious juice.
Cleansing
Juice cleansing can help eliminate toxins, jumpstart weight loss, improve digestion, hydrate the body, rejuvenate skin, boost energy, increase mental clarity, fight sugar cravings, and aid in reducing autoimmune diseases.
Start preparing 3-5 days before by reducing caffeine, alcohol, sugar, and processed foods. Clean out your pantry, stock up on fruits and veggies, drink more water, and incorporate light exercise into your routine.
You’ll drink six 16-ounce juices per day in a specific order, starting within 2 hours of waking up. Stay hydrated, exercise lightly, and listen to your body. Minor detox reactions like headaches or fatigue are normal.
During the Juice & Eat plan, you can consume light, plant-based meals like salads and soups. For other plans, it’s best to stick to the juices, but small wholesome snacks are acceptable if needed.
If you ‘re feeling good and wish to extend your cleanse program, we invite you to visit or call our Huffman or Midtown retail shop. Let the Juice Bar Barista know that you are interested in extending your cleanse program and they will assist you with pulling your cleanse program directly from the fridge for you to take home. No need to wait!
Transition back to solid foods gradually, focusing on fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid meat, alcohol, and processed foods for the first few days, stay hydrated, and reflect on your experience to integrate healthy habits.
All juice cleanse sales are final. However, you can request a one-time date change with at least 72-hour notice to avoid impacting juice production operations.
